Alice Austen (Munn) was a prolific American Photographer from Staten Island, New York who lived in the Clear Comfort House in the Rosebank neighborhood of Staten Island. The home today is a museum and the area outdoors is used as an events venue. Alice Austen photographed thousands of photographs during her time period between 1866-1952.
